I’m trying to overcome my habit of unhealthy/binge eating. When overcoming a habit or addiction, I have heard there are three milestones to pass before you successful defeat it.
3 days: this is the peak of the physical withdrawal symptoms
3 weeks: this is the peak of the psychological withdrawal symptoms
3 months: this is the peak of boredom of the new lifestyle of life without the habit/addiction
I am currently between 3 weeks and 3 months (5 weeks) – wish me luck!
